The Australian Rites of Passage Institute is dedicated to bringing out the best in kids, supporting and inspiring them for the future.

CREATING PATHWAYS TO ADULTHOOD

The Australian Rites of Passage Institute (TARPI) designs and delivers national programs that:

  • Build strong family relationships
  • Teach life skills
  • Create appropriate Rites of Passage for young Australians

A Rite of Passage is a community based event that honours the transition from child to young adult, builds support networks and acknowledges each boy or girl for their individual gifts and talents.

All TARPI programs have been designed to involve parents or mentors as research shows that young people achieve better with the support of strong family and community relationships.  TARPI teaches life skills to help navigate potentially difficult times and creates community based Rites of Passage.

TARPI creates programs that are scalable and can therefore have a significant impact nationally. TARPI forms partnerships with local and national organisations to maximise delivery potential in both rural and regional areas.
